Vocationally, I'm an artist. Occupationally, I work in customer service.

I often feel a deep fire inside to make music or to share about how art shapes our souls. I often wake up with melodies in my head. I am working toward trying to make those melodies, snippets, and glimpses of ideas into songs, poems, essays, photos, etc. as I'm able to.

I resonate well with what Vincent van Gogh said about the tension between "the fire inside" and the struggle to get it out in the open:

"Someone has a great fire in his soul and nobody ever comes to warm themselves at it, and passers-by see nothing but a little smoke."

I want to share more than mere smoke, and I'm looking for ways in which to do that well. This website is a step in that direction.
